Thrive Community

Or maybe it’s not that easy for you. Maybe you have to sit back for a minute and think of something you’re good at. You may genuinely believe that you’re not good at anything. And you may be so tired from just trying to survive that you haven’t felt anything like passion in a long time.

Formerly known as EmpowerU, our Thrive Community of Love in Action is designed to gather people together to connect, learn, and grow in different areas of life. Our goal in the THRIVE community is that each person—participant, staff, and volunteer—would know their intrinsic value and have an idea of what God-given gifts they possess. It may begin with meeting an immediate need, like food or a listening ear. From there, it’s an invitation to become part of a community through participation in classes and coaching. By the end, each person walking through the steps of THRIVE will know they are valued, and will be invited to contribute their abilities for the growth of the community.

Community is one of the most powerful tools we have in combatting poverty and the isolation it creates.
