Housing Ministry Collaborative

Creating pathways to sustainable housing

The Housing Ministry Collaborative (HMC) of Love in Action combines the support of local churches, GHACF, and the community. The focus of HMC is to prevent homelessness and to keep families safely in their homes with light, heat, and the ability to prepare meals. The goal is to help them see how to be sustainable going into the future by working with an established budget and education through EmpowerU classes like Financial Fitness.

The HMC assists families with housing-related costs, such as rent, mortgage, utilities – gas, propane, electric, and water. HMC seeks to help families that, once they pass the current setback, will be in a sustainable position going forward.

Homelessness may be prevented when families with established homes are helped over difficulties that are just a moment-in-time.

We are extremely thankful for our Housing Ministry Collaborative partners:

Providence Place

The ability to secure affordable housing is a large burden for many individuals and families, when combined with a need for accessibility, this challenge can be daunting.

Thanks to our generous community, Love in Action has established Providence Place. This facility provides eight income-based units, four of these units are completely accessible for those living with physical disabilities.
