Homelessness has become a difficult challenge in the Tri-Cities over recent years. Love in Action is very much at the center of the organizations seeking to help those facing this challenge in northwest Ottawa County.
Over the past two decades, our current Donation Processing Center at 1106 Fulton St. has served as the heart of our operations, processing countless donations of food, clothing, furniture, and other essential items to support our community.

As you drive through Spring Lake, you may have noticed that our beloved LIA Resale Store is undergoing a significant renovation.
One of our favorite moments at Love in Action is when we hear from those we have served in the past. Each day, LIA provides food, advice, support, housing, healthcare, and dozens of other services.
Love in Action hosts dozens of food trucks each year, feeding from 7,000 to 10,000 people. We recently learned that there are a surprising number of unserved households lacking food in Fruitport.
The Community Co-op is in its fourth month already. We are thrilled by the supportive community that is forming! Over 140 households are represented, with over 300 new members being served.
