Volunteer Spotlight

How much time do you spend volunteering each week or month? About 20-25 hours a month.

 When and how did you get involved with this organization? My father-in-law in Spring Lake mentioned it to me and I went to the website to register. I have been retired since December. I started volunteering with LIA and Meals on Wheels in 2024 as I reduced my daily work responsibilities.

 What motivates you to stay involved?  I am motivated by Matthew 25:40: “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

 What is one thing on your bucket list? My wife and I hope to ride our bicycles in all 50 U.S. states. We are just over halfway done.
