This winter season a poignant encounter with a client reminded us again of how blessed we are and who we serve. An individual who came to us was facing a difficult situation.
Carla came to Love in Action due to a variety of needs. In her intake with a volunteer advisor, she shared that recently her medication had increased in cost far beyond her financial means.
Sarah came to LIA after years of being homeless off and on. A very young mother-to-be, she had been raised by a parent
who had also been homeless. She came to Hope House and felt the love of the many residents and staff as they embraced her.
Homelessness has become a difficult challenge in the Tri-Cities over recent years. Love in Action is very much at the center of the organizations seeking to help those facing this challenge in northwest Ottawa County.
