The Storehouse Update

Dozens of donors have already given to help the LIA Storehouse launch. If you go by 325 N Ferry, you may see earth-moving equipment, painters, contractors and soon a refrigeration installation team. Things are really moving! We hope to launch in a few short months. Your gifts to this renovation are still needed as we are $50,000 under budget but closing in on the goal.

Many of you have asked what is to become of the Donation Processing Center on Fulton Street. Originally, we intended to sell it to contribute to the needed funding for the Storehouse. But recently, thanks to a local church and some individual donors, enough funds have been pledged that our Board of Directors moved to retain the building. It will be used for church-based ministries and volunteer teams that need the space for LIA-associated ministries such as the Appliance Ministry, God’s Helping Hands, and the Recycle Ministry. Any donations beyond those needed for the Storehouse will go to keep 1106 Fulton for
LIA ministries.
