Spring Newsletter-co-op

We’ve hinted at this before and we are tremendously excited to announce a new initiative for this year! The Love in Action Community Co-op is designed to take so much of what LIA has always done and locate much of it in one place. Our goal is to bless people, body, mind and heart. Food is there for the body in the form of the Market where people can shop for themselves. Education and learning are available with classrooms, mentoring spaces and a homey kitchen in which to learn to cook if that is needed. But the heart connection comes with the community.

The goal of this new initiative is to create a space where connections are available at every level, in every space. Groups connect with peer support. Shopping is done with others and with volunteers all of who are members as well. The whole intention is to create space for people to work together as a member-based community. A generous partner has created a matching grant for up to $100,000 so any gift given will be doubled up to that amount!
