Nourishing Neighbors: Our food pantries provided vital support through 11,500 visits, ensuring families had access to essential meals.
Providing Safe Shelter: Over 9,500 nights of shelter offered a safe haven for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Keeping Families Home: The Housing Ministry Collaborative successfully helped 89 families remain housed through over $105,000 in crucial assistance from local churches and donors.
Mobile Meals on the Move: Our Food Trucks served over 12,000 meals directly in the community.
Fueling Futures: Over 7,500 Backpack Blessings provided weekend meals for students facing food insecurity, ensuring they have the nutrition needed to learn and thrive.
Building Community Through Food: The Community Co-op fostered connection and access to food with over 6,000 visits.
Thrive Program: An average of over 40 students per week gained life skills, community support, and coaching through our Thrive program, fostering long-term positive change.
Food Fund Update:
LIA distributes over $2 million in food each year but thanks to our many local food donors, only 15% is actually purchased. If you are interested in helping directly with our community’s food needs with a donation, the goal for this year is to raise $300,000 for the LIA food fund. Thankfully, $87,257 has already been given!
