Christmas Shoppe

The opportunity to find the perfect gift for our loved ones and see their faces light up when they open it is not something everyone can afford. This is what our Christmas Shoppe set out to provide, and has done since 2017.

Participants and graduates in both Financial Fitness and LIA Housing programs are invited to come and shop for their family members. For a nominal fee, shoppers enjoy an individualized shopping time and get to choose from hundreds of items donated by community members. They leave with a shopping cart full of numerous toys for each child in the family, gifts cards for teens and adults, filled stockings for each family member, as well as clothing and blankets. Supplies for gift wrapping are included as well to round out the experience!

Every year there are so many smiles, laughter, and tears of happiness. Participants experience the dignity and joy of providing a wonderful Christmas for their families. We celebrate with them as together we continue the challenging and rewarding journey toward life transformation!
